ABOUT US
About the Market
Welcome to That's Mine Events – a vibrant marketplace designed to connect, inspire, and grow small businesses. Our mission is to create a dynamic space where local artisans, crafters, designers, and makers can come together to showcase their unique creations, network with fellow entrepreneurs, and build meaningful connections. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your reach, That’s Mine offers the perfect platform to share your passion and grow your business.
Why is the market called That’s Mine?
At That's Mine, we celebrate the pride and passion that small business owners, artists, and makers put into their work. Every product you see at our market is a reflection of someone’s personal dedication and craftsmanship – made with love and care by the very hands that stand behind it. When someone asks, "Oh, where did you get that?" we want you to respond with pride: "I made that!" – because, in that moment, it’s yours and it’s uniquely special. That’s the spirit of our market – a celebration of handmade, one-of-a-kind creations that you can truly call your own.
Meet the Organizer
Hello and welcome! I’m Margarita, the founder and organizer behind *That’s Mine* Events, and I’m so excited to share a bit about myself with you. My goal is to create a platform where small businesses, creators, and makers can thrive, connect, and grow — and I’ve been fortunate enough to bring that vision to life through the events I’ve been organizing since 2011.
With a degree in Event Management, specializing in Entertainment events, I’ve had the privilege of working on both national and international projects. Some of the notable events I’ve managed include:
- Battlegrounds Australia (formerly *Groove Hip Hop Dance Competition*)
- Looze Control Hip Hop Dance Competition
- Hip Hop International
- GROUNDED – Battle of the Arts
In addition to these large-scale events, I’ve volunteered with various community and council-run festivals, helping shape experiences that celebrate culture, creativity, and community.
I’m also proud to say that That’s Mine Events collaborates with Wyndham City Council on several exciting projects throughout the year. These collaborations allow us to reach even more people, bringing local businesses and creatives together in unique ways while enhancing the cultural landscape of the Wyndham area.
On top of my event management experience, I also served as a youth mentor with the Collingwood Freeza Committee where I helped design programs aimed at giving young people (aged 12-25) in Victoria access to safe, drug- and alcohol-free cultural, artistic, and recreational events. It was a rewarding experience that reinforced my passion for creating spaces where people of all ages can come together to celebrate creativity.
I also bring a technical edge to my work with a background in audio/visual production and multimedia, which I love to incorporate into the markets to ensure we provide an engaging, high-quality experience for both vendors and visitors.
I’m passionate about supporting small businesses and fostering a strong, connected community. If you have any questions or ideas, I’m always open to a chat. I truly believe in the power of collaboration, and I’m excited to work with you at one of our upcoming markets!
Thank you for being part of this journey — I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.
